Doesn’t covering them defeat the purpose of the ventilated seats?

There’s too much contrast between the two colors. They should have picked gray tones that were more similar. Also the location of the color change is completely arbitrary. It’s being different just for the sake of being different. Making the bolsters the dark color and the middle the light color would have looked much more sophisticated.

 

It defeats the purpose of paying a premium for them, then covering them with Carhartt denim.

Softex is tough. No need to worry about it.

 

oh I didn't go premium. my GTI had leather seats and I had 2 snags in em within a month or two. I got an OffRoad with the upgrade package, which should be cloth seats.

 

I would definitely cover those.

 

The GTI did not have those retro plaid seats?
I loved the GTI after having a 76 Rabbit, but I could not get over VW going retro like that in a sportier Rabbit.

 

notice no sound insulation on the hood, and hollowed for running wires maybe? or drainage... when you dropped it, did it sound flimsy/rattly/loose? was running through my list of items from back when I was considering a '23 and sound proofing was high on the list...

 

THAT was a hard decision, but they only put the retro plaid in the stick shift racers with the super upgrade everything package and they were selling out fast and i was commuting into DC every few days... so I was not wanting to do that trek with a stick.

 

Like the seats were in my 2010 Ranger.

 

Roseville Toyota is the absolute worst. These guys will have 5k markups for another year or two. Just pure greed, but there will always be chumps in that area who pay it.

 

For the record, those seats are ugly af.

 

I have stains on every one of my third gen gray seats. I don't even have kids, and I'm not out in the dirt in it ever weekend. I'd destroy the ones in the photo so quickly lol
