410 Xmas tree shopping

 

Drove up China Mtn looking for a tree in the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest - came home with a fine Charlie Brown tree! I’m always amazed by how entire forests can grow on these steep rocks. Pics don’t do it justice but it is steep up there. Gives one a healthy respect for the logging profession.

Anyone been up to Hansen Creek trail head yet? Got some good snow wheeling there last winter and it had a nice big hill for sledding for the little ones.

 

I went up to hansen creek 2 weeks ago and at the time it was all rain and slushy snow at the top. I imagine after this last weekend there is probably some good snow up there now

 

Yeah, weather looks like a decent amount of snow this week/weekend. Still have trimming and buttoning up left to do for the 35s before I can head out though.
