It's an interesting design with a lot of good features. I like it's size and how it fits over the bed.

Are you able to store anything in it in the closed position? I'm thinking sleeping bags. Also, how is the mattress? Doesn't look like it is very thick.

Caught this a few weeks ago.

 

I haven't tried to stash sleeping bags in there yet. I usually air out the sleeping bags after a trip so haven't tried storing them in there. We also use a medium thickness comforter. Pretty roomy for a 2-person tent.

The mattress is about 2.5" thick. Kinda firm for memory foam but I'd prefer that over too soft. It's better than most inflatable pads I've used in ground tents.

Set up and break down is pretty easy. Still getting used to it since we just got it in March. So far, really happy with it.

Wife and I had lunch on the way up to Cedar Lake yesterday. The snow prevented us from making it all the way, but the views were still great.

I was on the eastern end of the Saddle Mountains, at the former Nike Missile base. Pretty far from the cell towers.

 

Great spot when the Mt. Hood is out.
