o_O No shit Shirley. :p Prolly could cook, bake, grill on it too. Pancakes, pizza etc would need to come off when they are done, unless they are cooked on something else, then put on these serving platters that are just warm, not hot.

I'm trying to find something to cook, and serve, using the CI and the wood holders.

That make any sense? I doubt it, coming from me! Happy Halloween!!

So, two skillets, high as your oven goes, yank ‘em out, drop a half chicken in one, nest the other one on top of the chicken, wait like 10min, right?

these ‘d probably do a pork chop, t-bone, chicken leg, etc. in a similar, volcanically-hot, searing, iron press of fiery-sizzling-death type fashion.... ‘course, you’ll need some airport crash crew fire suit gloves to handle them.

Got a Griswold small block logo #9 that I love cooking in. With markings and cast numbers I traced it back to the early 1940s

2 cups pinto beans soaked over night (I ended up only using about 3/4s of them)
    Sauteed an onion and garlic
Added some chopped zucchini (the garden was yielding a bunch of them)
    One chopped jalapeno
    One can sweet corn
    One can chopped tomatoes
    Added in the pinto beans
Some chipotle sauce from a can I had open
    Some chili powder
The rest of the spices you typically cook with

I think that's all I used. I cooked it in a Dutch oven for about four hours. I sampled it a little bit before dinner and realized the beans were still a little tough so I put the batch in the instapot on stew mode which got everything to be tender.
