Local? Do you hit garage sales and the like?

    $20-$80???

Depends on the seller. I admit I have been extremely lucky with prices. Just don't pay some guy's dream price. All mine were under $10.

No Guru but the 6 is worth more than the 10 as they are a lot more common. 3 years ago a friend and I were renting a cabin that we rent each year during hunting season from the same owner and I found a 6 and 10 Griswold's in the bottom of a cabinet in a cabin we had never rented before. Put $40 in my front pants pocket and went down to the owner and asked him if he would sell them to me and he agreed and said $40 for both. Almost broke my wrist pulling out those two $20 bills. Old trick in bartering, only put a certain amount of cash in each pocket and pull it out and say this is all the cash I have on me. Didn't even have to haggle with him.

But if you look at what the Griswold's are selling for on ebay that is a different story, crazy what they are going for. I let my friend keep the #6 and I took the #10 even though I already had one.

Not telling you it's required. Season and cook away, if the cooking surface sticks and never really seasons up to non-stick, then power sanding is an option.
