The round cutouts in the center are for air flow to the radiator, and also to grab the free-spool lever on the winch.
BTW... I just went on Tom's FB profile and looked you up  :anonymous:

Crazy small world! We should all get together for a beer some time; I always enjoyed Thomas, it would be nice to see him again - kind of lost touch with everyone after I went to Atlanta. I leave for Airborne School on 21 JUL, so it would have to be before then.

I don't know Casey, according to FB he went to Gladstone, but no worries, I'm sure he's quality. I miss hanging out with country boys and fabricators; too much time in Atlanta with rich city kids (Emory) will do that to a guy.

Okay. I've only used a winch on an F350 before (my father's) so I'm lacking in the design experience/knowledge. Sounds like you put a lot of thought into it though.

So I went to Tom's FB and he know's three Eric's; which one are you?

So I apologize to anyone who was expecting to see ARB bumpers; I kind of thread-jacked my own thread. We can get back on topic for those that are interested. I originally created this thread because of the general lack of pic of ARB bumpers on Tacomas. Any pictures I'm sure would be greatly appreciated by the community.

Thanks RelentlessTaco for all of the pics and info about your bumpers; stellar job for sure.

I feel that mine is pretty damn tough, especially if it had full tube on top. I should have a pic of a center hoop on one by lunch tomorrow.

Hey, thanks for posting the pics of your truck! Your truck looks really good. Is that a Fabtech performance 6" lift?

Question about the ARBs... Looking at these pics, I just noticed the little black "box" covering up the Toyota emblem on the grill... what is that thing?? can it be removed? I like that everybody can see my Toyota emblem!

Another question... lol.... last one. Does installation require any body work? cutting the front fenders/flares down? I have an 08 taco and am coming dangerously close to pulling the trigger on an ARB but want to install it myself.
