linked up with a guy on here who recently traded his 2012 magnetic grey for a black 2015. one problem his cap didnt match, i just bought my first taco in magnetic grey, and bought a leer 100xq cap on craiglist for six hundred. we both had the same problem and eachothers solution so we met half way and traded to fix our miss matching problems, gotta love tacomaworld.com!

I don't have any pictures yet with the black cap, but I re-wired the brake light yesterday and washed/waxed the whole truck.

100XL on my truck. Fit is great, I'm very pleased with it. Anyone in the Seattle area want to trade a silver canopy for my blue ribbon pearl before I get it repainted?

If you're purchasing new, buy the headliner as an option, you won't regret it. image.jpg

We needed ours quickly, and during the holiday season, because we were moving from North Cali to Seattle and found we needed to haul what didn't fit in the Pod. So we paid the extra $250 to have it put first in line. Ordered it on 12/14/15, and it was ready for the dealer to pick up 12/21/15. Was very happy with it, until closer inspection of the window joints, which I've put pictures of. Leer hooked us up with a local dealer at our destination, and it's going to be corrected.

We haven't camped in it yet, but can't wait to. I'm glad the gentleman with the gray Sport Longbed got what he wanted, but what he got first was what we wanted, and I spent many a time gazing at his first pic. Leer also gives you a little bottle of touch up paint too.

Thanks for the pics, I ordered the 100XL and it will be installed on Tuesday.

Will definitely be giving it a close inspection thanks to your post.

Thanks! Just remember the paint has to cure for 90 days before you wax it.

Leer followed through, and the windows were replaced with ones that had much better joints. I don't have any good pics, but I'm getting it detailed this week (no garage to wax it myself), so will post some then. In the meantime, here it is from a distance with some mist on it.12719202_10204589262686580_3480785238176148443_o.jpg

I'm contemplating the 100R or 100XR, any thoughts on framed vs frameless rear glass door?

I am thinking the framed with 2 handles would be more secure?

If it's a frameless rear window it's the xr. If I remember right that's the only difference, but I may be wrong
