Just curious if that did turn out to be the actual height with them set at 2.5" and the 33" tires. I didnt really measure my truck before I put the lift on and right now both side are just under 39" with my fox 2.5 RR coilovers and the ride is really nice, but my 33" tires are rubbing a little more then I like when I back up or go over a bump. The ride is REALLY nice though, so I have to decide if I want more lift but a worse ride, or leave it where its at and live with the rub.

yes, that's the height of the truck and i remeasured it last week.

    driver front=40 1/8"
    driver rear=40 3/8"
    passenger front=40 1/4"
    passenger rear=40 1/2"

for some reason, i got more than a 2.5" lift in the front as i was measuring somewhere in the 37" range (can't quite remember what it was and i had the tsb done too) so I got 3 inches and change in the front.

what are you rubbing? 4wp trimmed that wheel well liner and i have 0 issues rubbing

Have to be honest, not a huge fan of the sand mica, but the black rims make a huge diff, IMO. Nice rig!

How much trimming did 4wp have to do. I'm looking at an identical tire and wheel setup for a 2.5 to 3 inch lift and am wondering how much fender/wheel well that I may have to cut away?

    Thanks in advance

Like most people I am not a fan of the color of your truck (stock that is). Now that you have added all of your stuff to it, I love that color. I guess I just needed someone to open my eyes to the possibilities of the color. NICE job!!!

they basically cut that nub that hangs down in the wheel well, they just used a utility knife to cut it after turning the wheel, then eyeballing how much to cut. i could've done it in a few minutes, but they offered to do it for me, so I let them at no add'l charge.

thanks. I know ppl here don't like it, but it doesn't bother me (and neither does that thread), I love it which is all that matters and I agree that this color modded looks awesome! stock, it's plain, but not ugly, imho.

I am just rubbing on the cab mount when I back up while turning almost to full lock or turning while going over a bump.

On a side note I just helped a buddy put his ICON lift and tires on his tacoma, and we but the front to 39" with his 285/75/16 tires and he is not rubbing at all on the cab mount, we only had to do the normal cutting of the plastic. But his rims are also 16x8 with 4.74BS, dont know his offset. My rims are 17x9.
