I am thinking of getting the OEM 2012 black side steps? Would like to see some pics on the truck, compile them here.

And also get owners thoughts on how practicle, vs how much they get in the way?

I think they are great looking compare to any others I have seen, getting in really with any steps your left leg could get dirty. If I am correct they are aluminum with black powder coat makes the truck look right.

Im setting my eyes on those as well...they seem to be durable from my last truck i banged the bottom of them pretty good on rocks a few times and held up good but definitly not as strong as sliders...damn it sucks they got rid of the silver side steps

I had tried to get the silver side steps when I got my 2012, but dealer then found out they were discontinued. I'm actually glad they were, I found these Ionic ovals in stainless steel for a lot less the the OEM side steps.
