The hood scoop is the dead giveaway... along with the front air dam.

    Its a TRD Sport

Sold: '19 TRD OR - It will always be in my heart.
    It's a 2-wheel-drive. Not as high as a 4X4

3rd gens all sit at the same height 2x4 or 4x4 with the exception of the 1 inch extra on the front for the TRD Pro.

Actually that’s not true ... the 4X2 actually sits at the same height as the 4X4 ... except for the Pro

    co-workers stock 4X2 SR5 on the left
My stock (non lifted) 4X4 OR on the right.

Black A pillars, paint matched bumper, push to start. Many parts can be swapped, but those details are a dead giveaway. Sport. No need for Vin lookup. :spy:

Got you. I guess I'm thinking of the Gen 2 Pre-Runner days (or maybe that was also as high). Did you add the red TRD emblem on the gate, next to the V6 emblem?

Nothing I didn’t already know. So ya no. Again clearly you’re missing the point. :bananadead:

Yes! It’s one of the little touches I added to my “Semi-Pro” build ... it emulates the Pro Badging without actually copying it.

Look, I was not questioning your knowledge of the Tacoma. I’m sure that you forgot more about them than I’ll ever know. But...your point is moot. I say again, If the VIN says that it’s an SR, it is an SR and will be valued by the bank as such. In this case, the VIN says that it’s a TRD Sport and viola, it’s a TRD Sport. The “SR” part was erroneously reported by the OP, not me. Now put away your stick, (that horse had been dead a long time ago) and repeat after me...”From now on, I will only use relevant resources”.
PS. Are you a Dallas Cowboys Fan?

I understand you’re trying to claim the technicality of “TRD is an SR5 package” but the point is he has a TRD Sport model, not an SR5

OP said that the VIN came back as SR5 not me. He was using some POS VIN finder but the VIN doesn’t lie. It tells you EXACTLY what you’ve got. That is my ONLY point.

I have a 17 Sport and don't have dual climate control, which would tell me this may not even be a 16 or a 17.
