So I did some trimming and my tires rub only when my wheels are turned at a very specific angle. I have the opportunity to run glasswerks fenders up front. I have 255/85/16 tires and a 4" lift.

I would love to see more pictures of people NOT running a long travel who have front fenders. Post up your wheel specs, tire size, and spacer size if you run them.

    Thanks in advance.

Gonna look funny man. Too much rise and flare. I'm going to get some AP ones in the near future.

I've seen a picture before and it looks bad. MAYBE if you ran wheel spacers and aftermarket wheels with different backspacing. But then it will look funny in the rear unless you get bedsides. Too much hassle. AP ones are great because you can keep stock bedsides it it still looks good.

Which I might be buying off the guy with the fenders. He has a tube bumper.

I'm confused. Your buying a tube bumper of the bumper cap pieces?

What? He is selling a prerunner style front bumper. He has the side caps if I wanted to run the stock bumper but he is going back to stock so I might try to buy his front bumper as well.

I wonder if with some sanding and cutting work and a fiberglass repair kit you could make those bumperettes match up real nice. I think it looks good just needs to line up a little better.

I asked the same question and got the same answers as you. I would've still proceeded, however because I insist on running the shell. it complicates running bedsides. I intend to beef-up the suspension, but the rubbing over speed bumps is unacceptable.

I went to Glasswerks and stared at the fenders and bedsides for hours. Glasswerks also sells the pieces that fill the hole under the taillights when you switch to a tube bumper. As soon as I solve the shell challenge, I'll proceed. I may use Spidertraks if I don't beef the suspension beyond shocks and UCAs.

Thanks for the reply Robert. Are you running 285's?

@ Keller: 450$ kind of steap. I emails all pro to see if there was anything they could do about that price since glass at the time was 300

Looks kinda goofy. My truck before and after, but both before I installed the long travel kit:

You should have no problem running the cap with the Glassworks bedsides. They have a flat top and maintain the bed rail system.
