Depends on where it hit. In this case, the corner of the cart hit the seam between the door and the rear quarter panel of the car. Smashed in the rear panel on the corner where the door jam is. Area of impact highlighted in red below. The door won't be that hard to fix but the rear quarter panel will take some work. I'll get some pics of the actual damage once I get home.



Yesterday we had 30-40mph wind gust. When the asshole left the cart in the middle of the parking lot it was able to gather quite a bit of speed before it slammed into her car.

Why would you close the gap. You left enough space for a vehicle to fit between you and the car in front, an you're bitching because someone merged? Who gives a crap if they signaled or not.The best defensive drivers are able to predict what other drivers might do, and react to such.
