    This is the house about 3 and a half years ago. Front flower beds are different now and a few trees. Its a 4 bedroom 3.5 bath. 2 car garage that is more like a 1.5 care garage.

    Exactly what I meant , the block must make for a cool thermal mass .

    The reverse of what we try to do here , but the same concept

    We looked in the downtown at some old wood houses back in 81 but I had to put my foot down on that, A lot of em had termite damage and I could see endless work, plus they are hard to heat and cool. I lived up in Aberdeen Wa. in the late 70's so I know there were not many block homes up there. I liked that neck of the wood's but the other half would not leave Fl..so when the work was shut down on the Satsop nuke plant I came back home.
