Ya know I wonder if I would have actually been stuck there had I aired down more.... I really had no idea how much of a difference 4 psi makes.

I'm still cautious with the whole airing down thing... lol I was down to 14 at the end.... the LAST thing I wanna do it pop the bead. I don't carry a full size spare yet. It just amazed me that 4 psi less and all of a sudden I wasn't spinnin tires anymore... lesson learned!

Agreed about not wanting to pop a bead, but it definitely helped

You must live really close to me. I don't know if you noticed, but I was right behind you on Watt right up until you turned off. I'm up at the Auburn intersection.

Damn I didn't notice. I'm right on Fulton. Where morse turns into Fulton I'm just an apartment complex down. Btw I've seen how you are good with stereo stuff, I'll eventually get a system and throw you some bones helping with an install

I had a blast! It's cool pushing your truck to the limit without having to worry about causing any damage

Hey Brian, as long as you're not driving fast, low air pressure is OK. It's when you start driving on the road at higher speeds (40ish and above) things get problematic.

wow 14 psi in snow, thats not good at all. i run 10 psi with rocks with snow i probably go 8. for bead popping off, just get your self a hi lift with a big base, can of starting fluid and a lighter. you get the idea. also need valve stem removal kit

8 seems low but the starting fluid and a lighter thing I'm down with...just be careful how much you use. It does not take much.

way too much fun ... they were requiring chains right after placerville, normally i lie and say my trucks 4wd but chp made me nervous ... so hopped in with brian and stayed warm rather than freezing my ass off on the atv

yeah that was classic .... whole truck sinks to the left ... brian goes .... yup thats a ditch
