Kyle you do know that apparently you can bring O'Reilly's your whole CV axle and pick up a new one for like $100 or something right?

Or are you talking about a seal in the diff itself, not on the axle?

I kinda wish it was the hole diff! HAHA!! That way I could buy an air locker but instead it's just the seal! probably a $10 part + about $90 in 80w90 gear oil and time.. If I had the time and my shop set up already I wouldn't be out too much money but because I need my DD back to function in life I am forced to spend close to $400 to get it fixed! This is why I need a new daily driver and use this as my weekend cruise and wheeling vehicle!

No biggie! Got to pay to play! The pics look good guys! Keep them coming! I wish Brian would have left his GoPro with either me or Paul so we could get the videos up!

You spending 400 dollars to get the seal fixed? Come on man, $15 dollar seal and a bottle of 80w90 and your golden. :p Took me about an hour and cost under 30 bucks. Some oil might leak out, just top it off with your bottle of oil, unless you plan on draining the diff.

Do I not have to pull the Axle Shaft? I would love to do it myself!

EDIT: So I looked it up and You convinced me.. I talked with my mom (Who is letting me borrow her car) and she said ok to letting me borrow it for 2 more days! I am going to do this myself to save $300!! I just thought it was going to be harder then it really was.. :woot: Thanks for talking sense into me Parker!

Yea. Is it different on 2nd gens to pull the axle shaft? For mine you just stick a prybar in there and pop it off. Pretty sure Larry (lrgnr) broke one on the trail and swapped it out there.

Hell... I did my second T-case install entirely by myself in an apartment complex parking lot.. I'm sure I can do this in an enclosed garage pretty simply.. Just take your time and do it right..

a note to the t-case swap.. I had pull both cases apart inside my apartment and swap out some of the internals! LOL! So i'm also good in confined spaces!!! (That's what she said :D)

As for the thanks, you are all welcome anytime. I need to thank all you for coming. It was a great meet even though we didn't do so much modding. Seeing all those trucks lined up in the yard was awesome. I'll try to get the videos uploaded this week along with more pictures.

Don't let him fool you, his truck is composed of half toyota assembly, half will's handy work, and half girl power.
