On topic, I have not had any of the OP's issues. And I'm 6'2".
Part of that is mine is a manual, any being in the wrong gear issues are on me.

My cat in avatar is McSween. Scottish brawler. All the old biddies at the shelter were afraid of him. he was nuts...did not shelter well. fine now.

 

I’m 6’ and yes is issues with seating position is so bad and not comfortable on longer drive but everything else works and don’t have issue.
