@SGJarrod's post prompted me to do some investigating.

    Screenshot 2024-04-25 at 11.24.32 AM.jpg

You joined TW on 9/5/23, probably just to start a thread complaining about your 2023 Tacoma, which is fine. But since that time, you have posted only 6 times, always b!tching about your truck. No other helpful/constructive comments whatsoever. And here you are, 7 months later, starting another thread about the exact same thing.

You are probably the type of person still butthurt over getting pummeled in gym class in the 5th grade.

GET OVER IT and move on. If you are that unhappy with a vehicle, then sell it or give it away.

Congrats on being the first TW member on my block list.

intermittent fasting ... you'll have room to spare in no time.

trade it in. I looked up the value of my '22 OR on one of the online car retailer websites, offer wasn't too bad plus they add another $4K if you trade in for anything they have in inventory.

I love my third gen. A tune fixed the acceleration/shifting issues and that’s all it needed. Sounds like some of your issues are very vehicle specific.

alot of the listed complaints seem like operator error and lack of familiarization with the systems

I agree with a few of these issues but the important ones are easily fixable and the ones without a solution yet are just a minor nusence. 7+ years and I still really Love my 2017 Taco.

    For these two issues:
1)Transmission is unresponsive when trying to accelerate
    8) The gas pedal is quite stiff and is not comfortable to use when accelerating.
    Solution: K&N Throttle Control https://www.knfilters.com/tuning
Functioning like the ECT Button except it give you infinate control of the troddle (gas) peddle. Allowing you to adjust the peddle inbetween ETC's ON/Off function and a little beyond.
Making it so you don't have to engage the peddle as much to get the response I want and I can dial it to what every I want at anytime while driving.
2nd Best Mod I've done so far, only second to the supercharger.

    For these two issues:
2)I'm only 5'10" and I have the seat set to the lowest point and can't get into the vehicle without hunching over and still scraping my head. This vehicle is designed for midgets.
    3) The center armrest lid opens straight back instead of to the side like the old Tacoma. You have to be a contortionist to access inside of it.
I agree with and I have found no fix Yet. Hopefully someone will be encouraged to come up with solutions for these as I have NO plans to get rid of my Taco anytime soon.

    Sell it.
Someone who can't afford a 4th Gen will buy it.
With the current 4th gen prices, there should be plenty of buyers.

True.... Just for shits n' giggles I checked Craigslist for my area the other day. I could sell my truck for +- $5K more than what I paid for it new 3 1/2 years ago.
