I don't think we will see any snow though, it'll be too warm. Time will tell!

Everybody is so funny, if you want to know what the weather is going to be like up here just ask me and i will tell what to expect. besides they are now calling for rain friday into sat and clearing up sunday, with a possible chance of light sprinkles:D Snow i very much doubt people unless we drive up to Mt. Laguna:D. As for the permits, if you read the rules for the permits. Its for un-occupied parked vehicles, not trucks or bikes that are running the trails. Evan if we stop for a little bit and sit at our trucks and eat our lunches and drink our drinks we dont need them. I live up here and i have never had to use a pemit unless i was leaving my vehicle and hiking. That is what the permit is for. But waist the money if you want, but you dont need it.:rolleyes:

Really ? I heard on the weather that snow level was probably going to drop to 3,000 to 4,000 ft. level on Sunday, but who the hell knows, don't matter to me ya know that , we'll just have a little pow-wow at the entrance & give a heads up to the new offroaders ( & experienced offroaders that maybe haven't been here before) as to what to expect on the trail i.e.: Oncoming traffic, larger than usual ruts, etc: I think with this many trucks it might be a good idea, I dunno just something to consider......

I will check weather.com right now to double check, but as of this afternoon it changed:confused: If anybody pays any attention to signs when we go off-roading at CC and PV all the signs read, and i quote"Parked Vehicles Must display adventure Pass". There are no permits needed to go Off-Roading at either place.:D:D:D:D

I've got a permit just in case. I've been using the same one for more than a year. :p

It's only $5 if you really want one.

Hmmmm I would if I knew how...

Estimated time would be no more than 3 hours though. There isn't really any rough terrain there though.
