I have an 05 Tacoma Trd Sport 2wd on a 6in lift. All my issues have started after I re geared. It has been in the shop 3 times since then to have the pinion bearing replaced because it keeps frying itself. lat time it went in the replaced the whole gear set and a week later the issue is back. I have no clue what is causing it to fry. we have change the drive line angle reduced the vibration but it keeps burning out any ideas?

Get your money back and go somewhere else? Sounds like whatever they did wrong the first time they keep doing. Do you have a factory service manual? Maybe they're improperly torquing the bearing.

I agree a differential has a lot of torque on it & if you don't know what your doing, it can go bad real quick, I re-geared my truck, did the research & drove 150mls away to have the best do it & no issues, just be really picky
