So I tried again and still leaks, decided to cut my losses and the mechanic I brought it to couldn’t get it to seal. (Had to wait which is why I didn’t respond til now) Says I may need to rebuild the rear end. Not sure why this damn thing won’t seal its becoming extremely expensive.

Thanks but we do have them them monetized. That's why you'll see ads on all of our videos. We would never "charge" people for access to our videos though. Even though having to sit through an ad, skip an ad, or have to click on ad ad to close it is mildly annoying, I think it's a reasonable price to pay for a video that is going to help you save hundreds, maybe even over a thousand dollars in labor. We're not getting rich by any means and it's not remotely compensating us for the time we put into our channel, but it is nice to have a little bit of extra money coming in to fund whatever like tool purchases and the parties we hold at my place at least once a year. I guess if we do it long enough and continue to grow, the amount we are compensated will be more on par with the effort we're putting in.

But, we are first and foremost making videos to help people out and our favorite form of payment is hearing from people how one of our videos empowered them to take on a project they otherwise wouldn't have tackled if it wasn't for our video. I never get tired of hearing people's success stories. It brings a smile to my face every time. The money we're making is just a fringe benefit. I know there's got to be a huge percentage of people that use our videos and it doesn't occur to them to take the time to thank us for our efforts. It's like we owed them something even though they're total strangers or they think we're making millions off our YouTube ad earnings. I really appreciate the people that take the time to comment and give us a sincere thanks because researching, filming, editing, and then answering questions about a video is a labor intensive process.

Anyway, I appreciate it Mitchell. Happy Wrenching!

Yeah dude, don't ever think that you're not a hero in this world, with what folks are learning they can do for themselves through your work.... That's priceless.
And teaching a man how to fish is MUCH more valuable than giving a man a fish:cool:
