    Evening!

Time to replace injectors on my 2000 3RZ. Doing lots of reading on how the 01-04 pink top injectors are considered a positive upgrade with their spray pattern and flow rate over the brown tops my truck come with - especially if I plan to S/C in the future.

My truck (although CA smog legal) is actually a federal single cat 2000 truck - kinda rare instance.

I have Part #23209-79135 but want to confirm these are the higher flow rate pink tops as I see multiple part #s being thrown around.

Toyota's parts database says its a match for my truck but i've had multiple part #s not fit due to my truck being that wobbler year with the emissions/dual cat changeover.

Thanks in advance to those more knowledgeable!

Edit: here's a pic of my old fuel filter as of 20k miles ago I replaced - safe to say new injectors wouldn’t be a bad idea....

She was a Reno truck her entire life until a few years ago when I took her home.

I have 98 3rz.....ran the pink tops for couple years

    zero difference in performance

ecm is gonna adjust flow cycle amount.

The browns have 2 spray holes.......pinks have about dozen tiny little holes

so when you get in high miles the pinks will start to clog a lot earlier

so all 01'-04' better be running top tier gas and run injector cleaner every so often

What about S/C though? Are they useful in that regard? I'm sure NA just new injectors period will be helpful for me considering how trashed my fuel filter was.

Only way to benefit would be a custom ecm.......like whats needed with the super chargers

maybe if you pulled a large load would you realize a difference.....I doubt it tho with these little 4 bangers

When I ordered brandnew ones from Motorwest......they sent me the brown ones

not all pinks are same flow rate.....some I've seen at 650cc......and others at 690....

these heads and gasket are not very forgiving for ANY over heating.....
    consider carefully..

I'm of aware of the weak head - was just curious what part # was. Dealer is also kicking back the above Part # when I ask them for injectors for my VIN anyways.
