Made it to mile 32 before we stopped. We didn't have enough fuel to make it to the end and back due to the conditions.

Wow, that bad. Yea, I'm planing on bringing 10 gallons extra minimum whenever I make the trip, regardless of conditions.

    Fall plans anyone?

I would say bring at least 20 extra gallons.

I might be down for another trip.

I had 10 extra gallons, and Nathan had a little over 4. That would have been enough fuel for one truck to make it to the inlet.

If the conditions are good, you'll make it to the Inlet and back without using a drop of spare fuel. If they are as bad as they were on Saturday, you'll need an entire tank just to get to the inlet.

Wow, I was at PINS 6/12-6/15 and the seaweed hadn't come up to the road yet. Y'all definitely made it a lot further down than I went. I got bored of just loose sand, figured it'd be the same the rest of the way, and turned around. I was wrong, dangit. I'm still at stock height, so maybe it was for the best, but looks like y'all had a great time.
