    I'd say pull them off. I left the pinstripes on mine but they are more subtle than yours and they set my truck apart from most.

    I took mine off and my only regret is that I wish I had done it sooner! After you pull them off, use simple green to clean it up, then you need to wash your truck and wax the area were the pinstripes were.

    Missing My Last Tacoma --- Had 11 Toyota trucks in the past and many other Toyota cars too.

    On a warm and sunny day, I completely debadged my Tacoma and that included the pinstripes. Glad that I did the debadging too.

    They are all taken off now, I even painted the TRD brake light cover black, which can be seen in this thread (before pic) http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2nd-gen-tacomas/69544-paint-black-leave-chrome.html

    Pretty easy job, the hair dryer is definitely a help. I called the dealer and they said that they put the pinstripe on when it gets to the dealer. So there should be no need to wax it, but I think I will do that tomorrow anyways just to be safe.

    And to lrgrnr, I am definitely glad I did. I can't believe I let it sit there for 5000 miles lol.
