Just installed mine last week, wired the relay bypass as well as a back up camera. So far I really like the unit.

    Only complaints I have
    - Callers have mentioned loud wind sound when using the bt even when windows are all up.
    - For some reason I cant get the headunit to go into video mode when the car is shifted into reverse. Ive checked my wiring 3 times.

I have an extra relay bypass if you want.

I'm interested in purchasing the same unit, do you have pics of it installed? Also, is the BT mic built into the unit or is it an accessory? If so, could you indicated where you installed the mic

Can't watch video's if parking brake is released unless you have it bypassed.

Edit: I'm guessing you have it bypassed, so nvm, lol.

It included a wired mic which I routed near the fog light switch. I installed it here because member: loaderman82 installed his mic in the A-Pillar and also informed me of wind noise. The wind noise is only a problem at higher speeds (fwy driving).

    Heres some pics

Correct, I installed the relay bypass which allows to play DVD's while in drive.
What I meant was having the head unit automatically have the HU switch into back up camera mode once the car is in reverse. Currently I have to manually change the input mode on the HU to video in to see behind me, but the HU should do this automatically once the cars is shifted into reverse.

That head unit looks right a home in the dash! I have a question though (hopefully not a dumb question) what is the theft deterrent if any on these double din units? Thanks

Once the bezzel surround is off (it pops right off btw since its held with clips) you can see the 4 screws holding the unit in place. The only deterrent I found was to use non traditional screw heads. Might prevent them from taking it or even slow them down a bit but it will surely piss them off which will probably result in smashing the screen in.

Id much rather have them break it then have them take it :D
