as much as you saved, i wouldn't fret over it.

i'd bet Amazon is an authorized dealer. that'd be a monster account for pioneer to NOT deal with them.

Lents is running this as his headunit, and hes told me in the past he loves it. He even said that the navigation is run by Garmin which is a good thing. For as much as I will save here, I wouldn't feel guilty to have someone else install it for me.

The only thing people have said about it is that it doesn't have a huge stock of POIs. Not a huge deal for me as I would use my iPhone to get addresses of places to go.

Is this something that can be installed by myself? I'm a slightly stupid kid with no prior knowledge of car audio! Or is it harder than it looks?

I think you will be able to figure it out. Just take your time and check the forums for install help. I know everyone hates *********, but they have some good step by step photos to follow on their site. Good luck!

When I clicked the link for the head unit, the Amazon site shows "Ships from and sold by 6ave". 6Th Avenue IS an authorized pioneer dealer.
