    What did you have to get new mounting brackets for?

    I got the unit for $720 (920-200) + The Metra kit for $30 + The IPod cable for $0 + The wiring harness for $10 + The SWI PAC PS for $40
    Total = $800 (no tax)
    Not too bad at all

    because I had a single din scosche kit installed before and sold my old factory stereo. Didnt know the metra kit used factory brackets until I got the kit in the mail.

    So brackets cost me 50 and sales tax was like 80 so I paid an extra 130 more than most people will have too unfortunately

    Still not a bad price

    I haven't even see my new unit yet (although it was delivered two days ago). Because the delivery was going to require a signature, I had it sent to one of my offices (Not the one I normally work from, but it is a confirmed PAYPAL address so it had to do). No one would have been home to sign for it, so it sits on my desk (at a different location) waiting for me to pick it up.

    I picked up the adapter 1) because I have read a couple of posts here from people who were successful in installing the SWI with the new AVIC we just got. I have to look back at the posts, but they were even able to get the phone buttons to work from the steering wheel. 2) Even after we got a sweet groupbuy discount, I still was able to pick up the adapter (with no tax or additional shipping) at a price around, or even lower, than I could find on ebay. And the guys at Al & Eds seemed pretty easy to work with, and are knowledgeable with this kind of stuff if I run into a problem.

    I also have a buddy of mine who hooked me up with the HD module for the AVIC, so that is sitting at home as well, just waiting to be installed. Honestly, I probably won't even get around to putting this in until mid April sometime because of work and such, but I couldn't pass up the offer.

    I didn't want the pictures for myself just for others to get an idea how it looks after the install.

    Awesome Blake.

    Let me know how the install goes... I still have to hook up the bluetooth controls ,the SWI-PS, iPod controls & rearview camera. The bluetooth buttons & ribbon should be in Monday & the iPod adapter should be in Tuesday so I hope to have it all hooked up by Thursday night as me and the Mrs. are going on a cruise from Saturday 05/10 through 05/15!

    Sorry for the confusion, it does indeed have bluetooth and it is working quite well. However I am going to install the bluetooth control panel that goes on the right hand of the steering wheel.

    Should be a nice addition Chase. Thats also one more part I am waiting for, the parts from Toyota. The PAC-SWI that I got with this new unit, is the newest version, which will work with all the buttons on the phone side of the steering wheel.

    There is a label, or marking of some kind on the front of the device (or packaging). I can't remember exactly where it is, but can check when I get home tonight. When I ordered it with the new head unit, they didn't specify which version they were sending, and didn't even realize I needed v1.68 until after I ordered it. I just got mine delivered with the new unit, and sure enough, mine is version 1.68.

    So if anyone is still going to buy this unit, and need the PAC to go with it, you can get the newest version of the SWI, at a pretty good price, at the same time you get the head unit at a pretty good price.

    z110 has a lousy GPS system, bought as a Christmas gift for my GF, she only uses the ipod and stereo now. She loves my Kenwood 8120. The ipod in the 110 is a fraction better though.

    Nope but just mailed mine in 2 1/2 weeks ago (If memory serves) - however the rebate forms state to allow 8 weeks for processing so I don't expect to have it until late May/early June!

    I just realized I never updated the question about the SWI. As you can see below, the units have a sticker on the side when you receive them with the version number.
