Yes it will work with JBL as long as you buy the idatalink maestro and the correct JBL/Maestro harness.

Would this work with a 2020 with Multi Terrain cameras? It says it has two camera inputs, but wondering if anyone has tried this.

I can take some for u. No there is no switches to wire. I have not run into a stereo that offers that yet. Would be kind of cool. Basically this stereo fills the entire dash opening. Wireless and wired Apple CarPlay or android auto. Able to go into certain websites. Pioneer controls what websites. I have a firestick connected to mine so I can look at whatever I want or watch whatever u can load on a firestick. If u have more questions you are welcome to pm me

Has anyone installed this on 3rdGen SR5 with the smaller (I think) factory head unit? Any modifications needed?

Yes, you will either need to purchase the premium entune bezel, or trim yours to a bigger opening. Some have had luck on ebay.

Installed 6600 today and in place of an 8500 (for sale here). The front camera setup I have worked perfectly on the 8500 but doesn't on the 6600? I double checked the wiring and that appears fine. Any ideas? Anyone else 2nd experience camera issues?

    Thanks

What did u power the camera with? The little red wire that hangs off next to the rca, or the harness that plugs into it? I tried just feeding the little red wire but it didn’t work. I had to use the power harness and ran the 12v through a switch.

The red next to the RCA is a trigger wire. C2E62032-6738-4130-8E00-FC9CD68ACA3E.jpg

Looks to me like you don’t need B, C or D for the front camera since you’re not triggering it? I’m planning to hook the red wire to the blue/white turn on wire and just ground the black.

It's been awhile since I ran that camera. I traced back a ground that was connected to a bus bar and a tiny positive wire that is connected via add a fuse to one of the ignition on spots. I did see a power RCA connector as well but didn't fully trace that. I will pull the whole thing next time I get a chance to wrench and trace it all.

I would not run constant 12v ignition to the camera. Have heard many stories of people burning up their cameras. Mine is run through a Toyota rectangle push button with camera image on it. It’s mounted in my dash below the AC controls

I found this for anyone who has the 360 camera function. From what iDatalink says it should work. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h2TR7hnAzrA

Damn. Do you know if you need the larger Entune bezel with a 2020 Gen 3? The head units looked identical when I was looking at different models, aside from the screen size (the bezels all looked alike). That sucks if I have to dunk another $220 for a bezel :(

Post a pic of your stereo showing the bezel. I can tell you right away. The opening should be about 9" I believe? If smaller than 9" you do not have the premium bezel. Can tell with a pic very quickly though.

Looks great man! I’m happy to see you got it to work. My project got side lined and now I want to get it finished after seeing yours.
