So I have had this unit for about 3 years now and have loved it. Everything works but my tuner/ radio mode. It started a while ago just cutting on and off. Not the unit but just radio silence. Now it has completely been in radio silence for 3 weeks or so and possing me off. Any ideas? It not like the signal is cutting in and out its like no static or anything. It just says tuner. Then my station pops up and nothing happens on all of my local stations. Thank in advance

It's something with the deck, you'd have to send it to pioneer service center for repair.

might sound stupid but could the antenna plug have fallen out from the back?

That's actually not a bad suggestion but I just popped my deck out (Avh-3200bt) and took out the antenna, it didn't affect the radio working, it just lost all reception. Either way, check ALL of your connections to your deck to be safe.

None yet, starting over!! OME lift w/ Dakars & 885's Remote Start w/ window control
My guess would be that the radio tuner died on ya... I'm making this guess with an assumption that all the other sources still give off sound (my take from the OP).

If that's the case, just stream the music from your smartphone... another assumption, of course.

I wouldn't recommend repairing the HU though, unless you can get it done for $50 or less - Just start saving for the next group buy, the Pioneer's seem to get put up quite often.

So I don't know wtf is up but I order my new unit last night got in truck this morning and my radio works. It is laughing at me. So I will have this hu up for sale for pretty cheap soon if anybody is looking for one but you have been warned about the radio being intermittent but all other features work

Very odd, but sounds like the Radio Tuner is dying as suggested already.
