I don’t disagree. AT plus looks like a way better tire.

I was in my early 20s and I didn’t know much about tires. They looked good so I bought them, big mistake hah.

I've had lots of chances to drive on these in various snow type conditions, from fairly icy and hardpacked, to really deep powder. We just got hit with almost 2 feet of snow, and my truck easily motored right through it so I'm very impressed.
The tires are performing really well in the winter, and this is a real bonus as I now have a tire that I feel works great in frankly all conditions.
I will not hesitate to buy another set of these when they are worn out.

I have had these tires for a little while now and they are about 30-50% dead.

    Offroad has been fantastic

On highway they are loud as fuck and cupping even though I am religious about rotations, balance etc

Probably get 40-45k out of them total but I'll need earplugs

Really ? I've heard so many people say that they're quiet. Considering that they're stock on those Rivians you would think that they would use a quiet tire on an electric car.

Conversely, mine are as quiet now at 30K as they were when installed. No problems with noise on mine.

I think tire reviews are so subjective because of vehicles, driving styles, etc. I remember seeing one review where the guy was saying how loud this particular a/t tire was but he was driving an old school Jeep which has paper thin doors with no insulation and a button on vinyl roof. Gee I wonder why they're so loud ?

Valid point. The Scorpions are comparable the the OEM Goodyears, which really aren't great if your actually doing Off Roading. Just a good compromise tire. Nothing wrong with that.

I don't do any recreational 4 wheeling but now that my son is almost 5 I'm going to start taking him to our local mountains a few times per snow season. The rest of the time I'm driving strictly city and highway. I currently have Michelin A/T 2's on three vehicles and they've served me well but they've been discontinued so I've been looking for an A/T that leans more towards highway and I definitely don't want anything noisy.

Mine were definitely cupped, you could feel it with your hands and see it with your eyes.

The funny part is that some people who rode in the truck thought it sounded normal

2.5” OME lift, Koenig Six Shooter wheels, 275/70r17 Nokian Outpost AT, CMC, Nitro 4.88s, Greenlane aluminum sliders, CBI aluminum skid, Greenlane aluminum front bumper, Out Gear Solutions HC rear bumper, Baja SAE fogs
I've looked at these and considered them, but 57lbs in D-rated 285/70r17 is a bit heavy for my taste.

Thanks for the information. I've got a 2019 TRD OR 6M. My stock Wrangler tires have awful wet traction. The worst I've driven on since I was a teenager and couldn't afford new tires. If I'm not easy on the foot-feed, I'll spin the wheels accelerating in 2nd gear on wet roads. They don't hydroplane easily, so I can live with them. For now. When it snows, I wait until the county, or God clears the roads. Most of the OR driving is aired-down on the beach. I try to not drive over debris which will cut almost any sidewall in sand. I do some OR on Fire Service roads, but I don't air-down for that. I'll take a long look at the Pirelli tires.
