Last minute deal, my brother and I decided to head south to Pismo beach for a little sand kicking. This was out first time wheeling in the dunes and it was a blast. His 4runner with a V8 hauls a$$ in the sand. The torque difference in this condition was night and day between the two trucks.

We drove almost 4hrs there, wheeled for 4hrs, and drove 4hrs back home. Firestone in SLO is :headbang:. Anyways here are some pics from yesterday. YES, we used our fishing poles as whips, lol. It worked flawlessly.

he's running the bilstein 5100 setup. i think it's about 2.5" or 2.75" over stock. the setup handled the dunes pretty well compared to my tacoma.

Air your tires down and stay steady on the gas and you can go almost anywhere.

    ...too much shit to list.
Bullshit. Last big trip out there I forgot to put my Tundra in 4wd. I towed my 7000 lb toy hauler all the way to my campsite with nothing more than a limited slip and 10psi in the tires.

Not a single truck at huckfest was 4wd.

    It's all about air pressure.

News question but did you have to put up that flag pole for a reason? Or what's it just for kicks?

The whips are a safety thing, you can see the whip over the crest of a dune before you can see the vehicle on the other side.
