    TRIP CANCELED. Relocated to Hollister. Check the new thread.

    @ninja89 and @Eskimmer and I are planning a day trip down to Ocean Dunes on Saturday 10/22. The official meet up time AT Oceano Dunes will be 11AM (subject to change). Most of us in the South Bay will probably start driving around 6 or 7.

    Various meeting points will be determined once we find out who is going and where every one is.

    NOTE: Whip flag required.

    Whoever wants to stay the night/camp out/get a room/whatever, you can. We're not making anyone drive back with us in the evening.

    Please RVSP in this thread.

    Drivers:
    @Eskimmer (confirmed)

    @DannyBFresco (tentative)

    You're fired. I'd bring so much firewood it would be ridiculous. Plus if you get drunk enough, its not that cold...

    This. 100% this. Sam can attest, when I'm doing 60 up fence line and some dumbass on a quad decides to go right down the middle of the whups and not even paying attention, it pisses me off to no end when I have to slam on the brakes and try not to break my truck getting out of HIS was. *grumble grumble*

    Yeah when we were up there last month with the Wheeler's Anon. group there were a TON of other trucks, bikes, quads, etc. out there all flying all over the place. Gotta be real cautious especially when cresting a dune, the little orange flags don't do much but give you a split second's notice to say a last prayer before you collide.

    I imagine this time of year it's quieting down quite a bit out there versus when we were out there early August, should be nice.

    @LTDSC Looks like Motel 6 if we want a hotel under 150 a night lol.

    PS I don't do day runs to Pismo, to far for just a few hours out there lol. Might as well stay out there all day, spend the night, and then get another run in the next day before you leave
