Pismo run Saturday 6/10/23

Hey hey, a couple of us (only I’m on here maybe one other) are going to be hitting up Pismo on Saturday June 10th for a day run. Bringing our kids so will a mellow-ish run. Throwing it out there incase anyone wants to roll out.



Always a good time out there! And there will be a 4wd or two with tow straps for us 2nd that might get stuck lol.

 

I'll be there that weekend with my prerunner, manx buggy, quads and bunch of friends and their toys.

I know there is a couple of you guys that want/need to hit the dunes…


Maybe some first timers? Bringing our kids so will be kid friendly. Buddys 4Runner is basically stock, it is on bilsteins so will be a slow pace as well.

I wish I could come! I’m just over the grade.

 

I saw ya DirtYota on the beach, I was in the orange Manx buggy. We did a couple runs but never saw you in the dunes. So much fun there. The dunes were super choppy for anything to ride/drive.

 

I saw you guys in the Manx and figured it was you. Never saw the truck. It was very tracked up and choppy out there!!! With auto, 35s, open diff with stock gears I couldn’t get out out of 1st gear lol.

We didn’t stay long, I threw a P2111 code and was stuck in limp mode for a bit back by sand drags lol. Got it out but now going to tear into throttle body, clean it and replace TPS in hopes it works.

We wanted to find a jump like that but never did. I did get all 4 of the manx off the ground but nobody was around to see it. I giggled the whole time I was driving it.
