We have had some excessive heat here in indiana the last few days. Tuesday I noticed my Xrunner was a little slow to turn over and has been since. Any ideas on what would cause this?

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
Battery probably. Excessive heat can hurt them. Take it to a local auto parts store and have it load tested. They will normally do this for free.

Yeah I'll bet it's at least 20 degrees hotter under that blk hood compared to a lighter color. Blacks a real heat grabber. I had a blk Camaro that used to ooze interior glue down the insides for years. :) It's your battery.

You should have been in Texas this summer. 72 days of 100+ temps. I think it was 41 days in a row of 100+. We had several days of 107-110.
It's better you get your battery fixed now instead of when you need your truck to start an it won't.

I would've much rather been in Texas than Tennessee or anywhere else in the south, we had temps in the 100s with humidity in the 90% range, effing oppressive.

Dude...Heat and high humidity? That is Texas. We don't get a lot of dry heat like Arizona. Texas is effing miserable in the summer. It is a good thing most of us Texans are reptiles.
