How are you guys stowing your carry weapons in your truck while driving? I need to find a decent pistol rack for my 02, and if they make one for ARs I will get that too.

I’ve seen one mount, it’s a piece of metal that hooks to the shifter console, to stow a pistol that looked pretty cool

I have a regular cab and.love this mount for the rifles! I'm 6'2" and have no issues with it..it's actually funny how easy it is to forget the gun is there! It was originally for 2 guns and I just took off front mounts.

Sorry for slow reply. That is made by Big sky Racks. It's the telescopic (2gun originally) model.

It may be worth saying, when I mounted this rack it is just about even with back edge of sun visor, which makes them stay slightly lower than stock but I have no probs with it. I've ran this for over a year , with a rifle everyday, been great!

Does it just press up against your headliner, or did you have to drill?

It has screws on each side where the headliner meets the door trim,it has a small metal strip behind it and makes it really solid mounting..

Did you use existing holes or did you have to make new holes?
