Made a new custom plate since the dealer f'd the old one all up. This time I got a steel plate instead of aluminum.

Bracket was fine, the plate wasn't very stout. They ran it through the car wash and it got caught in the brush. Pretty sure it also scratched up my paint

Me too!!! The 1st and only time it went through one with brushes. It was already clean too  I always take it in spotless so they don't need to wash it. Next time I will get it on the service paperwork "NO WASH!!!!"

I will bust out that RO as soon as I get some free time...

OH shit! I didn't realize it was the dealership that did it. That was the first thing I told them when I dropped my truck off for the free service. No wash! And the last thing I told them before I went off to the waiting area.

    What a fun truck!

I heard that Amber Fogs actually cut through fog and dust, but the bright white just reflects back into your eyeballs. Your thoughts?

I had hyper yellow and later amber laminx on my 2nd gen. The hyper yellow didn't seem to throw light as far as the oem halogen and they burned our way too fast, so I didn't run them for more than a couple months and didn't experience many other than normal conditions. The amber laminx film looked cool but significantly reduced the intensity of the light. They were probably better in the snow/fog because there was less reflection, but was lacking in dusty conditions and distance of throw. The OEM halogen is the better choice as far as performance, but aesthetically not as pleasing. I just put in these LEDs and they are ridiculously bright upon first impressions. The additional brightness might cause some more reflection in snowy or foggy conditions, but only time will tell. As far as normal night time conditions, the LEDs appear to reflect in the housing a little more giving a broader lit area. I really don't think it matters too much which color temp as long as the fogs are aimed properly, they should be doing their job. I am still using the H9 halogens in the low beams so I have a nice balance of bright white with a yellowish hue between them both.

Would you be willing to make a plate like that for a Sooner fan?

    Just gotta say man,

I love the fact your not either,
    (A) independently wealthy and flaunt it a lot... I'm jealous if so!
    or
    (B) Loaded in credit card debt while funding a "build"

Seems to be a sweet looking TRD OR real world build. I dig it man. Looks great, I'm not a fan of aftermarket grills but yours looks really good. The contrast is sweet.

And yes it's the little things that make our lives mesh better with our vehicles that are truly nice, they usually aren't that costly either but they get used almost everyday if not every time your behind the wheel and that makes them very much worth it.

Can I ask what model foam gun your using there?

I recently was gifted my first electric pressure washer and it works great on the driveway but I wanna use it to foam cannon my cars. I haven't checked into see what thread size and such are on the end of my trigger or anything yet.

Thanks man and kee us updated, your truck looks great bro. :mudding:

Haha thanks man, not much debt besides the truck loan, I just sold a lot of stuff I took off my 2nd Gen that I traded in on this one to make everything happen so far.

I went with the mtm foam cannon paired with a cheap greenworks pressure washer from lowes. MTM Hydro Professional Adjustable Foam Cannon with Bayonet, 2600 PSI https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00EDSLVQC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apip_wBtMMwROB4e5h

Ok so black plate with silver logo? Do you want a plastic, aluminum, or steel plate?
