@RickS - Date is set. August 3rd will be our fundraising cook. Same location as the last couple of years!

Details are on our Facebook page. I'm scrambling to get some raffle items ready! I'm hoping to have our hats in and maybe some of the unicorn rub.

    Speaking of....

The unicorn rub has passed all testing and has been approved! I'm awaiting a nutrition statement (I have to pay for those) on this formula. I can then finish the label for the rub and put in an order.

I'll update when that gets placed.

Let me know if you’re doing tickets again this year for the raffle. :)

Didn’t win last year so I gotta try again.

Grabbed this from the FB page.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, August 3rd! Pitfaced BBQ will be putting on another cook at A Biker's Garage in Roanoke, TX to help raise some funds for our BBQ competition efforts this Labor Day weekend. In addition to serving some great BBQ, we will be raffling off lots of GREAT prizes! Even if you aren't local, get your tickets as you do not need to be present to win.

$5 per raffle ticket or get a five (5) pack for $20. If you plan on coming out to eat, buy your plate of BBQ ahead of time and save. A plate and a raffle ticket will be $15 at the door, but just $13 if you buy online ahead of time!

This is a big event for us every year and we hope to earn your support. Visit our website for details and stay tuned for the prize list! 101 Travis St, Roanoke, Texas 76262

Is Unicorn rub the name that stuck? Wondering if the Pitfaced board of directors voted on it.

All just came together late this weekend. I'll have more details here soon. Glad you can make it! Coordinate with @RickS so that you guys are both there at the same time!

It's at the bike shop we went to when you were here with Zach.

It is not the final name. There is another name that the board approved very early on. It'll be revealed when the rub launches.:D

It'll still go by the Unicorn name in my house! But I'm sure whatever you have in store for it will be great too.

I'm considering adding a small unicorn somewhere on the label as a little shout out to the group here. This board is the only place I've ever called it unicorn. Anywhere else it's just been "experimental rub" or "new recipe".

We'll see if I can sneak in an Easter Egg. No promises though.
