    Same issue down here for salmon or crab legs. Which, I have yet to see any quality salmon. All smells like last weeks corner special. Ya dig?? :puke:

    Yeah, but that's only in California. The other 49 states are safe.

    I'm checking with my guy on the boards. I'll see what I can put together. @scottalot , you have plenty of time to get your vacation knocked out ;).

    I'll gauge interest here once I have some prices.

    @WBF610 , Boos Blocks are maple, cherry, or walnut. They're these guys, here: http://www.johnboos.com/product_group.asp?s=r&grp=JBC0051

    You usually find them in maple when out and about. I can look in to alternative options as well. Boos Blocks are really good, but you do pay a bit for the name. Mine is different board. It's oversized, so it's a whip to use around the house and normally just goes to events where table/counter space isn't at a premium. When I get some options figured out and a couple of shipping quotes, I'll post up here.

    I'm probably more excited than you and everyone else that the rub starts arriving today. I'm looking forward to the feedback starting to roll in!

    I'll tag the folks that will be getting there's over the next few days for this:

    Brown sugar obviously binds a bit and these have been vacuum sealed for a few days, so you'll want to run a fork through it just to loosen it up slightly, but you're otherwise good to go.

    *If there are any issues with your order for any reason (seal broke, damaged packaging, etc.), do let me know right away via PM or e-mail so that I can address it. I have no problem whatsoever owning up to any concerns publicly, I would just like to have an understanding and a solution in place prior to doing so. I think that is fair. That said, seals, weights (everyone got a little over to be sure ;)), procedure, ingredients, packaging, etc. were all monitored/followed/verified very closely, so I don't anticipate any problems.
