    I know you answered your own question, but just in case anyone else asks the same:

    I factored flat-rate shipping in to the price of the group buy. For the site, shipping isn't included, but the price reflects the product price, then you can choose a shipping option. I manually added the flat-rate shipping as an option, but if the standard parcel is cheaper, you at least have the option. The web price + flat-rate shipping less the discount for using "TacoWorld" should come out to the same as the group buy price*. At least that was the intent!

    *The exception is Texas residents, where tax now has to be collected :(.

    Yes! Part of what I got yesterday is being set aside for packs to have out at the event. We'll have a few 2 lb packs as part of the raffle and then more to sell!

    Looking like you'll be able to make it out? It is a come & go deal, so show up whenever. We'll be starting to serve at 11 a.m. Brisket and pork belly burnt ends are on the menu for sure. Chicken drums and/or thighs will be there as well. We'll have non-alcoholic beverages with the food, but you can BYOB :D.

    We're still just three backyard cooks, so don't expect a lot of pomp and circumstance. We're kind of like a magician with a really good act that is grinding away at birthday parties for 10 year olds until he/she gets a big break. At times last year, it felt like we were running a lemonade stand :laugh:.

    The food will be good and we'll talk your ear off about BBQ if you don't stop us, however. It was a good time last year with a lot of people stopping by at their pleasure to pick up a plate, chat for a bit, then get on about their day. Some pulled up a lawn chair and a cooler, then just did nothing for a while, which looked like a really good time, actually.
