You may have some new orders coming in. I have been doing wings with the spicy rub at every tailgate this season and people are destroying them before I can even snag any. A lot of folks were taking pictures of the rub (well, the old parmesan cheese shaker with your business card taped to it).

Man you know that ain't his only stash, he has that stuff stored at about at least 20-30 dead drops around the city, that way if something happens to one he can move on to the next.

We could do another run on the homemade variety if we need to. Otherwise if we can buy just enough time, our next run will be with the large scale production. We serve the people, though, and will give them what they want!

With regards to the large scale production, samples are being shipped to us today! We'll do some evaluating and then get some blind taste testing done with the rubs, as well as go through the oh-so-laborious task of cooking and consuming BBQ D), to be sure that we're completely satisfied with the results. If approved, we'll continue moving forward! I'm still working on clarifying the timetable for the next steps, but it should be reasonably quick.

 

Seems just a short time ago you were wondering if you would get enough orders in a month to give a discount.

Got to love it when a plan comes together. Just remember us all when you are on some BBQ show on Discovery or Travel channel talking about where it all started.

 

Tried it on some pork chops I was just throwing on the gasser. 1 for a snack tonight, 3 for lunches I used the regular, it's really good even with a quick cook, I love that's it's not too salty. Assuming there is some brown sugar in there, it glazes nicely and gives it a slightly sauced flavor. I love spicy food so I need to bust open my package and use that next. Enough talk, time for some pics...

 

I love it on pork chops. Those look damn good!!!

 

Picked up two racks of ribs tonight to cook this weekend. Good deal on spare ribs, even if I have to trim them in to St. Louis cut myself. At least I get to experiment with the rib tips.



Now, I just need something to rub them down with. What could I use....

Should know this weekend if we're ready to progress. We're going to be pretty critical of them so that we can be sure the blend is reproduced faithfully, but I'm excited!

We haven't shipped them labels, yet. These are just tester packages. If we move forward, then we'll invest in the labels and send them off to be added to the final packaging.

I'm gonna have to buy some more, Im out and my dad really liked it, we used it all up on some $0.79 pork loins, and it tasted amazing.
