Looking around for replacement shafts for SAW 2.0s that are pitted pretty bad. Really don't see any out there. Can King 7/8 shafts be used instead? Or does anyone have a good way of filling the pits on them?

Machine shops that deal with a lot of HD hydraulics may be able to help. My buddy used to work in a place where they would take shafts from hydraulic rams out of excavators and refinish and rechrome them.

I agree with what @Sharpish said, a hydraulic repair shop may be your best bet if there are any around. If not you may could find one and send them one and they make you some.

I’m not familiar enough with the chrome process as to rather they could be built up or not as deep as those pits look.

Sounds like the hydraulic shop is the way to go. Unless i can use King shafts. I know the rod ends are interchangeable and they are both 7/8 rods just not sure about the top ends.

Back on the hunt. Poly sent me the shaft but it's different. It appears there is 2 different versions of this shock. The middle rod is what they sent the other 2 are what I need.

    Stuff and junk and things...
Have you tried AFE yet? https://afepower.com/contact/suspension

It looks like you bought the inverted style shaft which could be worth it to those who still have that style 2.0 SAW.

IMO throw those old shocks away! You are going to be chasing your tail for a long time to get support for those shocks.

I think the hunt is half the fun. Since they are going to be spares for my truck when I have the Kings off. I may just fill the pits with jb weld and smooth them down.
I'll repost the new shaft in the for BST forums. I see someone is sell a set of the inverted style in the first gen BST.
