Pittsburgh Primantis Meet Oct 12th

Well I dont have it yet lol just an interview

 

I just retired from PNC. Information and Technology division. Who is your interview with at USX? I know a lot of people working at USX.

 

You might have known some of my former classmates...PNC hires a LOT of IUP grads since they teach COBOL.


Of course I was an Information Assurance minor so any IT related jobs I can't get since I don't have an IT focused major, just minor.

 

PNC is big on internships. They bring them in from all over the country. Provide housing, meals and even entertainment. The interns move through various departments, sometime they learn, sometime the manger will use the intern to do his grunt work.

 

Im interviewing with 3 different people. I got to meet two of them tonight and the one said she wants to bring me on as a project manager so thats a good start lol

 

I'm in, would be nice to meet and talk with other Tacoma owners.

 

Congrats on the wedding. I don't have my work schedule for the week of the 15th. Pittsburgh TW members should have a monthy meet!

No but I do live by there. I live on the Northside by Riverview Park. I know there's a guy that drives a Red BAJA like mine that works at the UPS on Beaver Ave., his ahs the roof rack though.

It used to be big fields of weeds till they finished 79 and built 279. Though I think we used ride dirt bikes closer to Warrendale.

Actually, it was a long time joke between a couple buddies of mine. One who lived in North Side. We always used to tell him the North side was a different world. The Good, bad, or indifferent parts. The people who lived in the North side neighborhood of the city where a different breed in general. The rest of us where South hills people.

Fun fact: the north side used to be it's own city separate from Pittsburgh

 

If anyone is interested in my current tool box let me know. We can take it off my truck at the meet. Paint is coming off in some parts (I spray painted it black), and has 2 (maybe 1/8") holes where I had the cb antenna at one time. If you're interested shoot me an offer.

Also looking for a tool chest (not one that sits on the rails). Preferably one like the 37 inch box from tractor supply.
