    Look at it this way, at least they said they want to and will replace it, so many people are getting screwed out of their frame replacements. There's such a big waiting list because almost all the trucks in those years in the recall actually need new frames (that's alot of f'ing trucks). Go to any Toyota dealer and you'll see a good 30+ frames sitting out back. Hopefully it goes smoothly for ya when they do the frame swap.

    Yeah I am glad I'll be getting a new frame it's just a pain since the inspection is due before I'll have it done. The good thing is the tech who will be working on it said they'll swap out my cheap replacement CV axles with my rebuilt OEM axles with heavy duty boots at no cost. They'll put new leaf springs on the back too so I may just buy a new AAL or even a whole new leaf pack and that'll be no labor charge either. I need to think of what else I would want replaced since everything is basically coming off.

    Not sure about mine. I'll have to look up how to check that. Steering always seemed fine but if it's worth replacing I'll do that too. Are you getting one from the dealer or buying one yourself? I assuming the dealer will charge a bit more for it.

    Trust me, you will know when you need one. Your steering will become tight and then loose. Kinda scary actually. I just bought one today online from a dealer (Toyota of Cool Springs) and saved like $70 vs buying it from the local dealer.
