Hey so I've been doing some research and I found a pretty cool place. Davis WV . We can do the Canaan loop and then explore the miles and miles of forest roads in the National Forest. https://youtu.be/kCc_CT417q0

Skip to 17:50 and you can see some of the loop and the restaurant that we can eat at. And then camp at the same place.

 

I’ve been wanting to do this for a long time.

There’s actually a series of unmaintained roads in WV that can take you there pretty much from Morgantown. I used to fart around on the ones near WVU in my Jeep when I was in college. The guys at Mt State Overland used to have routes available on their website, but I think they took them down.

 

Well, got my buck last night. The Taco took on some damage but she will come back. It's still drivable. The front driver side took most of the hit but it spun around and caved the side of the cab in behind my door. Now the fun of fighting with insurance begins. Pics after work.

No flies or mouse poop for me.

 

Well I don't think I'll be wheeling for a while. Or driving my truck....got rear ended Thursday in TN bent a leaf and shock. I had to rent a uhaul $640 to tow it home because the insurance would only tow it to the closest shop. Was unloading it off the trailer and realized the frame is bent.

 

Damn! What bumper is that looks like it took most of the force.

 

Cbi actually it barely scratched the paint off it. But he hit the passenger side tire and pushed the axle forward. Busted my backup camera I had on my license plate too.

 

Damn, people too busy with their phones.

 

Damn... that sucks! Is it considered totaled?

 

I will find out tomorrow. If it is I will buy it back and probably part it out. May pick up a small diesel or something. I may just go with a taco again. I plan on building a toyota pickup so I want something that I can comfortably tow with. Idk we'll see.

Yeah idk what he was doing. He was a corrections officer on his way home from work. He was saying he just split up with his wife, hes under a lot of stress ect ect ect. Then he called his "wife" about 15 min his story was they just recently got back together he was basically living out of his car but he never got saw chance to get it all back into the hose because they just got back together....idk. I was at a stop light at 11pm not a vehicle around. Light turns green and I hear somebody doing a burn out so I started looking around to see what was going on and bam he got us.

 

I like the canyon diesel but I hear they have a lot of issues. I was even thinking a jeep JL but there is a lot I don't like about them plus I don't think they'd tow too good.

 

If you got the JT truck it's rated to 6500lbs. They look kinda funny tho.

 

Buy something another tacoma & transfer all the parts! That's what I'd do... nice looking truck too!
