The Grist House is great. I’ll be in Maryland all weekend or I’d stop down.

It’s my favorite spot I’ve been to so far. We have stopped at East End and Dancing Gnome before as well. Got cans at EE, was pretty bummed that DG wouldn’t sell growlers (wasn’t a release day, so no cans). Of the three, Grist is by far my fav.

We try to make it up for their weekend can releases and make a day out of it. Always a good time.

Can’t believe I’ve never heard of the grist house. I’ll put it on the list

    Two things:
A)my wife took the truck to Ross park recently and someone snatched my custom made hitch+pin setup, so be careful
B)I recently got a parking ticket in millvale (unknowingly right near the GH), and called the police station to inquire. They said you can just throw it away bc it’s not documented through the state so nothing happens if you don’t pay

    1) we have taken her car up to date because I get 14-15mpg currently .. and she gets 25 in her outback. Shitty to hear tho.

    2) noticed none of the parking meters worked last time. Figured that part of town is a tad forgotten and cheaper for real estate haha.

They’re having a release this weekend as well. Espresso Stout and a DIPA. Most their prices are 4/20 or 6/20, so it can get expensive. That said, I’ve never had a bad beer from there that I wouldn’t be willing to buy another pack of.

You also made me nervous. I have a locking pin for my F55 receiver, but not for my WARN d ring. Just ordered an InfiniteRule locking pin for it as well. Not a cheap solution, but I’d rather have the satisfaction of someone not stealing my shit and me buying another.

Aluminum Pelfreybilt IFS skid still available from prior post.

Wow those are nice locks. I’ve had other locking pins that seized up after a few NE snow storms and I have to cut them off. But I think I’ll try those next. And I’ll let you know if I can buy your ifs. Right now unfortunately things are tight. Good look tho

Oh the IFS bit was just a general bit for anyone interested.. not directed haha.

It has a cover for the key, which is better than others I’ve seen. The one I have from Hawaii for the hitch receiver is still looking great, so I figured I’d buy something similar looking for the shackle.

I made it out Sunday for a little ride. Took my new 10/22 takedown and did some plinking. I was by myself so I didn't get many pics.

Looks like fun. Do you shoot anywhere special? And how do you like that take down? I considered it when I bought my last 10/22 but wasn’t sure how well it would maintain accuracy

So far I love it. Shooting open sights I've been very happy. I'm a member of 3 clubs local to me but I was shooting on my cousin's farm that day.

Pittsburgh Brothers! I'm in pretty dire straits and could really use some help!

Does anyone have an old Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac in 265/70/17 I could purchase off them? I just went out to my truck tonight, and my rear passenger side tire is 100% flat. Not sure if I punctured it and had a slow leak that was then man-handled by this extremely cold weather, or if some dirt bag kids punctured it(haven't had the chance to check yet).

Do you guys know if the Goodyear locations around here would have that tire in stock? I'm optimistic, but I wouldn't be surprised if the answer was no.

Lastly, if/when i'm able to acquire said tire(that rhyme was unintentional), is there that lives around the North Side who would be willing to help me change it? I cut my hand pretty bad last week on my bandsaw(i'm really on a roll here!), so any help would be really appreciated. I can pay in beer/gift cards/good luck charms.

    Either way, thanks everyone!

There's a Goodyear auto center across the river from you at 9th and Ft Duquesne. I'd bet if anybody near the North side has duratracs in stock it'd be them

Yeah, that's the one i'm leaning to. It's 2.7 miles away from my house, which is convenient. I'm going to give the tire a better inspection, see if it holds air, even for a short period.

The same shit everyone else has.
I have a few that size but they don’t have great tread on em if you need/want one of em. I was holding on to them for spares. I’m in New Kensington.

PM me since I don’t check this thread often.
