How is Union Fitness? The IG looks pretty cool. Not sure about $75/mo. though. Is it worth it?

Definitely worth it, and the guy Curtis who runs it is awesome, really good coach. We’ve competed it powerlifting the past 4 or 5 years so all the specialty deadlift and squat bars are great. They have 2 monolifts, 2 deadlift platforms, 2 competition benches, calibrated plates, a reverse hyper. The list goes on hahah

I've driven past those Toyotas many times! I live just north of you - near North Hills high school. I go through Millvale on the rare occasion that I actually go into the office.

Keep a lookout for me out there on the roads!

P.S. I'm a big fan of those 4Runner wheels, if you couldn't tell.

Nice. I work out over at Celli's Fitness on Spring Garden Ave. Was training with Ryan Celli for my first powerlifting meet back in December. I ended up not competing due to the USPA/USPC drama and split. On top of that, I ended up herniating my L3 & L4. I'm just now getting back into the swing of things. I'm hoping to still compete this year, but we'll see. Still "recovering".

I didn't even know about Union until one of the regular powerlifters from Celli's started going there to work with one of the coaches.

I always do a soft double beep and wave at other tacos so we’ll probably see each other one of these days! Those wheels look great on your black Tacoma, I’d swap with her but my 16s won’t fit on her big brakes(which I’m also jealous of lol). Check out Pittsburgh Overlanders on Facebook, just joined and already met some cool people and did a light trail!

No way! My wife Cara went there before Union and also trained with Ryan. Wonder if you guys ever crossed paths. I feel for you, the life of powerlifter is full of injuries and pain. We’re also on the mend and taking a break from real training. It would be dope to have some TW members at the gym! Definitely check out Pittsburgh Overlanders group too! Combining Powerlifting/Tacoma stuff lol

I'm already part of the group. :)

How long ago did she go there? She doesn't look familiar. I didn't join Celli's until January 2020. I'm trying to work off my injury pounds and rebuild my strength, especially in my legs. Though, we'll just say that I'm not doing myself any favors in the nutrition department. Haha

    Even better .

I think She was there maybe 3 years ago. Ugh starting over is rough dude but it only gets easier once you’re in the habit again(hopefully). Diet is just so hard because food is so good lol. Never been able to stick to eating right for longer than a 10 week prep
