Ha. I wasn't. I was at my parents ripping up all the carpet in their house. Good times.

We're on Baptist? I can't picture were there are apartments right now. I'm like 2 mins away from Lowe's.

Well, I just got a call from the service manager at North Hills Toyota. He claims that Toyota's corporate policy stipulates that they not do any modifications to their vehicles (which I know is complete bullshit), so they cannot add my AAL to the new leaf packs. He is going to give the parts back to me, so I guess I know what I'm doing this weekend.

I'll have to buy a flat brim Monster Energy Drink hat and leave the sticker on it before I pick my truck up.

What do they call those shitty dealer lifts they put on and charge an extra 20 grand for? I guess it's ok if it's lining their pockets.

I was told the exact same thing by Kenny Ross Toyota in Moon Township. I'll just take that time to clean up my leaf packs a bit.

I'm also throwing around the idea of utilizing this time to relocate my rear shocks (and install ubolt flip). I will be getting sliders in the near future as well, however I don't/can't weld. Anyone have any good suggestions on a shop or a personal reference for welding sliders and rear shock relocation. Rear shocks would include welding shock brackets to axle and welding a new cross member w/ shock brackets.

The bro lean is real, gentlemen.

Question: Do I need to buy new center pins to put my AAL back in? I'm assuming the old ones won't be long enough because the new leaf pack has an extra leaf.

Yep! I needed a c-clamp to get my AAL out of my old leaf packs. The dealership was nice enough to give me the whole leaf pack so I could do the work myself.

So I attempted to install my progressive AAL tonight. I was told by everyone I spoke to that I should buy new center pins, so I stopped at Auto Zone and Napa on my way home to find they had no idea what I was talking about. Instead of waiting, I tried to install them with my old center pins. Big mistake. The first side went well, but I stripped the center pin threads on the second side.:annoyed: An hour later, I finally put everything back the way it was.

Does anyone know where I can find center pins in the Pittsburgh area?
