I'm done going to North Hills Toyota for anything !!! Everytime I come here I wait for way too long and they just tell me it's a normal noise or they can't reproduce the noise. Now that my 3/36 is over they wanna check it out but only if they can charge me $110 diagnostic fee, fuck that. I'm not paying, I stood there until she said they'll cover the cost and check it out free like they said they would over the phone. I've been telling them since the truck was new there's a horrible noise, alot of you guys have heard it at the meets. Rant over.

What dealers do you guys use and trust? I live on the northside and really don't want to drive far but I need to go to a different dealer then North Hills Toyota.

Baierl in Cranberry is much better than North Hills.

North Hills is run by half-tards. I asked a service advisor if they used World Standard transmission fluid last time I was there and the woman said "oh yeah, it's the highest standard... best of the best." o_O

Since you're out of warranty any reason why you want to stay at a dealership?

My family has taken every car to Auto Service Mall in Wexford since we moved to PA in 1990..they've always been good to us.

I bought the truck at Fiore's in Holidaysburg, Pa. but N.H.T. is the closest dealer to me. There's still a 5 year 60k mile warranty "from what the service desk lady said" but it's supposed to have a 100k miles warranty on the truck from when I bought it.

They tried saying it was the "Taco Tic". I told them it's not that, even a non car guy knows the taco tic. The master tech is taking it out for another test drive. It's been sitting in the garage on the side for 2.5 hours not being touched or looked at. WTF???

What does your noise sound like?

My truck sounds like a goddamn 19th century Singer sewing machine. I have a tick, a clack, and a low end knock 100% of the time and it all gets worse when it's cold. North Hills told me it was all normal three times while my truck was under warranty. That was 30k+ miles ago.

I never told them that the CEL was on but the master tech finally pinpointed the problem with this noise. I still get the oil pump noise in colder temps. I told them to check to see if it needed to be refreshed a year and a half ago, they never did. This technique checked it this time after I suggested it again. The noise sounded similar to what you're description is on yours.

Yep, he reflashed the computer. I think they heard me talking to other customers saying to go to another dealer and that I was going to call corporate.

I told them about it 1.5 year ago when this noise started. The tech didn't do anything, said he didn't hear it back then.

I've been going to Rohrich Toyota since I moved here when there's something I can't do myself and they've always been good. Except for the missing bolts recently on the frame replacement but they re-inspected everything and replaced what needed to be for free. Could try them if it's not too far for you.

Yeah. I like Rhorich too. Besides not having the parts when they said they would for the spring recall. They did right by me in the end, with no issues.

Just got a call from Bethal Park police warning of a guy that approached a couple kids at the park my 4yo plays T ball at. o_O Luckily me being Assistant coach. I'm able to keep an eye on all of the kids playing at all times. My wife keeps my 1yo in the stroller and my 11yo is almost as big as me.

If anyone is in the South Hills area with young kids. It was a thin black male with blueish eyes. Had on a red shirt at the time. Shit like this is always a friendly reminder to always keep an eye on your kids. You never know who else has an eye on them.

So I did a thing today and installed my OME Lift kit on my 2016 SR 4x4 5 speed! Thanks to@ramonortiz55 group buy, had to wait 2 months for it but it was well worth the wait. Here is the list of parts cause I'm sure people will ask what I'm running! And a big thanks to @MidnightRebel07 for spending most of the day helping me installing it. I owe you big time!!!!!!

Just on the 5 mile ride home from work I can tell that the ride is so much better than the stock suspension!!!

Lift numbers center of hub to bottom of fender:
    Stock suspension:
    Front: 21"
    Rear: 22"

    OME Lift suspension:
    Drivers Front: 23.75"
    Passenger front: 24.00"

    Drivers rear: 24.75"
    Passenger rear: 25.00"

Tire size 265 75 16 Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs Load Range C

    OME Suspension Kit
    887 coil springs
    Nitrocharger struts and rear shocks
    Dakar Leaf springs
    OME differential drop kit
    OME 5mm taco lean spacer
Low Range Off-Road 2" extended stainless steel brake lines (These are a must if you are installing dakar leafs cause you need the extra length to just install the leafs )
Light racing upper control arms from @HeadStrong Off-Road
@Wheeler's Off-Road sway bar relocation brackets
@Wheeler's Off-Road stock upper control arm bolts

Deevon911, I was on my way home when we saw each other. We started working on the lift at 7am. Did you know/ see the person in the Tacoma behind you with furniture in the bed?
