    Anyone have a pixel 4 and a 3rd gen?

I've noticed that the reception almost always says "no signal" on the radio while having good reception. Resetting the radio sometimes fixes it. I didn't have this problem with a pixel 2.

Anyone have a pixel 4? Are you having this problem or not?

I think this type of data is sent on Bluetooth HFP

Having the same problem with my pixel 4, happened just after the November security update.

Having the same issue with Pixel 4XL. Sometimes it shows service strength and sometimes it just saws no service. Been doing it before and after the Nov security update.

So this has been happening to me lately but I have a Hauwei P30 Pro, I'll just connect it and it won't have any service through the head unit but full bars on my phone.

I don't have a fix other than restarting the radio sometimes works. Just thought I'd let you know I'm not sure it's just Pixel phones.

I had a problem with the bluetooth volume on my galaxy s9, and after searching google, the fix I found was the fact that my phone was trying to connect with the wrong bluetooth codec.

Search "switching bluetooth codec in android" on google. You'll need to enable developer mode on you're phone, but there are a lot of options to improve connectivity and audio quality.

I had it working by switching my Bluetooth codec to LDAC in developer options on my Pixel 4 XL and it was working great for a little while. I just had another update and it's back to the drawing board. I'll select LDAC but it switches to SBC and then I get "No Service" on the truck. I'll still get incoming message notifications and incoming calls but when I make an outgoing call, it will say that I'm outside the service area. My phone has full reception when this happens too which is odd. Everything else works through Bluetooth perfectly.
Does anyone have any other ideas on how to solve this? I also have the latest software on my Entune radio and I'm driving a 2017 Tacoma Limited.

I recall seeing a headline recently that there is some manner of bug in BlueTooth on the Pixel4 series that should be fixed soon. Could be something to do with what y'all are experiencing.

My Pixel 3 seems to work fine.

The Pixel 3 is "compatible" with their system as far as I know but that's good to know that an update is coming! Thanks for the information!

That entune update made a lot of phones no longer compatible. When I called Toyota, they said get a new phone. So I did and it works now.

Just had the dealer check for updates for entune. Updated from version 01019D to 0101A1. Pixel 4 works again!

    Darn I have 010192.

When I get in my truck it thinks I'm on the phone. The only way to get it out of this is turn off the Bluetooth on my 4xl or reboot the radio by holding in the power button on it.

Do you know how much the dealership will charge for the update or where I can download it at?

I have a Pixel 4 and have had no issues. If anything it's better than my previous phone a Galaxy S8+.
