What are your thoughts on pizza cutters on the 3rd gens? I want to get a set because I have read they are better on MPG and easier to mount with out rubbing. Is this really true? However, I do not like the way they looking inside the finder. In order to fix this I would add some spacers to give the truck a better look.

Thanks for the info OuTkAsT! I would likely go with a 255/85R16. I found a lot of good info at this article: http://www.expeditionswest.com/research/white_papers/tire_selection_rev1.html

I am wondering if adding spacers would make them rub. I know you may be wondering why add spacers....I would like the tires to fit just under the fender. I dislike the look when the tire set inside the finder.

A 255/85 was one of the best tires I've ran and I wheeled the piss out of them. Can't go wrong IMO.

Skinny tires. They look like this:

Notice how wide the tires are in the last pic.

The cooper s/t are d rated and ride great, perform great in wet weather and on snowy roads. Im very happy with mine. They are 33.2 tall vs the new st maxx that are 32.8 tall. But the st maxx look wider, but ride rougher and are heavier. I had them previously.

    From the article.

"Position: A tall, narrow tire is a superior choice for all off-highway surface conditions with the exception of deep, soft sand or mud. And they suck for brodozing."
