Place to buy 2002 2.7L 4Cyl Engine

Daughter went through some water, got water in the intake and engine seized most likely. Pulled the filter and intake housings, pulled the coils and plugs and attempted to turn it over. Did about a 1/2 rotation and stopped. May try pouring some ATF down the cylinders and let it sit for a bit and try again.

Debating a rebuild vs. new engine. Does anyone have a reliable/trusted source for an engine that we could drop in?

Maybe a source. LC Engineering has been designing, testing, then redesigning and testing with the 2TR-FE engine after Magnuson redesigned the Roots blower. LC Engineering recently announced that they're close to announcing their supercharger assembly for the 2TR-FE engine, so they might be worth calling. Arizona has always been a good place to find used cars (less rust, more retirees).

They have an engine at $2,999.00

Seems like a pretty huge price difference. The Power Engines option also comes with the 4-Port Intake. But the LCE looks to have a few minor parts added like the wheels and dipstick.
